We have solved the 3 BIGGEST travel concerns.
1st- "Do I really have to workout while on vacation?" No. Most of us are too over-stress and over-stimulated anyway, so a break of a few days will actually do more good for our overall health than we realize.
2nd- "The hotel gym has limited weight options/machines and I don't feel like I can get a good workout with lighter weights." Slow down and feel the burn. A set of 10lbs dumbbells can really cause a BIG burn if you exaggerate the lifting and lowering phases.
Example: Do an overhead press, but slowly lift to the count of 3, pause at the top for 2, then slowly lower for a count of 3)
BONUS if you can do this TUT movement with a pull-up
3rd- "I'm staying with a friend/family and don't have access to a gym or weights. Can I still get fit in a short amount of time?" Yes! Try a circuit of total body movements such as Push-ups, Lunges, Bridges, Squats, High Knee Jogs, and Planks.
The possibilities are endless, and you have so many options no matter your ability or age.
Whether you're hitting the snooze button with your sweetie, packing a bag for the snow, burning your biceps in between beach sessions, or using your body to get fit between flights, we have you covered!
